<p>Max Pollak has many fans in Europe that loves the challenging rhythms and smooth moves in his classes. His specialty is Afro-Cuban rhythms that he blends in a wonderful way with rhythm tap and body percussion.</p>

Introduced by Gregory Hines who shares his childhood memories of watching and imitating the tap dance greats at the Apollo Theatre, the film focuses on the artistry and style of some of America’s leading male tap dancers including the works of masters Steve Condos, Jimmy Slyde and Chuck Green. The film asks the question, “How does and artist discover their own individual style?” and each of the featured dancers offers a distinctive and highly entertaining answer through their recollections and performances.</p>

<p>Heather apprenticed to six of the first generation of American tap masters and has performed with Buster Brown, Cookie Cook, the Copasetics and Silver Belles, Steve Condos and Chuck Green. She established the Manhattan Tap Apprentice Program that is responsible for training today&#8217;s generation of tap artists including Max Pollak and Roxanne Butterfly, as well as cast members of Manhattan Tap, Stomp, Bring In da Noise, Bring In da Funk, Tap Dogs, Cool Heat Urban Beat, and Riverdance. She travels extensively, performing and teaching Master Classes and Residencies throughout the world.</p>
<p>These workshops are open to anyone with some experience of tap and you can even use a pair of our tap shoes for free. A great opportunity for dance and music enthusiasts and professionals to get ideas and inspiration.</p>
